This elegant table is locally made and the name "Hari" is among the primary epithets of the Hindu preserver deity Vishnu, meaning “The onewho takes”. It refers to the one who removes darkness and illusion, the one who removes all obstacles to spiritual progress. The table is made from Kiaat wood which is scientifically known as Pterocarpus angolensis and is native to Southern Africa, in Angola, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Eswatini, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Kiaat is known for its great bug and termite resistance.
